MDR CE Certified

Some of our products fall under the strict European Medical Device Regulation (MDR). For those items, CE certification is not just a label — it is an extensive process of evaluation, documentation, testing and traceability that ensures safety, clarity and long-term reliability.

Our internal team of designers, engineers and quality specialists manages this process from start to finish. They evaluate every risk, perform structured testing, validate materials, document instructions and ensure every step complies with MDR requirements. This includes:
• technical files
• risk analyses
• long-term performance evaluations
• usability studies
• detailed manuals and safety information
• continuous documentation updates

But our standard goes beyond regulation. Even products that do not fall under MDR are developed with the same mindset. We use the knowledge, testing principles and documentation structure of medical-device development across our entire portfolio, raising the quality level of everything we produce.

This approach ensures that every VITILITY product, whether officially a medical device or not, benefits from the same care, thoughtfulness and precision.

MDR - CE

Product Safety & Testing

Safety is not something we “add” at the end. It is something we design from the beginning. Every VITILITY product goes through a structured development cycle that focuses on ergonomics, stability, natural movement and intuitive use. Safety becomes part of the design language, not a separate feature.

Our testing approach includes:
• material strength and durability checks
• friction and grip testing in wet and dry conditions
• load and pressure evaluation
• drop and impact simulations
• stress and endurance testing to simulate years of use
• packaging integrity checks
• real-life scenario testing in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and living rooms

Our manuals are written clearly, visually and accessibly, ensuring users understand how to install and use our products safely. For MDR products, these manuals are more extensive but the same clarity-first philosophy is used across our entire collection.

Safety and ease of use are at the heart of VITILITY. When a product feels intuitive, predictable and stable, it brings confidence and confidence brings independence.

FSC Sustainable Packaging

Our responsibility does not stop with the product itself. Packaging is an essential part of the experience and a major opportunity to make a positive impact. That’s why we use FSC-certified cardboard across our product line.

FSC certification ensures the material comes from responsibly managed forests that protect biodiversity and local communities. But for us, sustainable packaging is more than choosing the right material. It is about designing smart, efficient structures that reduce waste, shipping volume and CO₂ emissions.

Our packaging philosophy includes:
• FSC-certified cardboard instead of plastic packaging
• minimalist shapes with less air and less unused space
• structures designed for easy opening and handling
• future-ready solutions that reduce transport volume

In some cases, we have even adjusted product dimensions by just a few percentage points, resulting in up to 50% less storage and shipping volume. These small innovations create meaningful environmental benefits without compromising product quality.

Our goal is simple: packaging that feels premium, protects the product and respects the planet.

BSCI

Behind every product is a chain of real people. People who make components, assemble products, pack them and prepare them for transport. As a family company, we believe deeply in treating these people with fairness, dignity and respect.

That is why we work with suppliers who comply with the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) standard and often go far beyond it. Many of our partners are family-owned businesses with multiple generations of craftsmanship and shared values. They care for their teams just as we do.

BSCI ensures:

We choose long-term partnerships over quick gains. We regularly visit our production sites, maintain open communication and support improvements when needed. Award-Winning Design
